It’s been a while since my last blog post, but I’m back! So much has changed since my last post like my birthday (I’m the big 35 now), Our apartment has taken an new look and style as we are still removing and reducing extra and living a more minimal, wholesome life, and the biggest and most exciting change has to be that I AM GOING BACK TO SCHOOL! after years of wanting to go back, finish and do my part in changing the world, I finally got the opportunity. I switched my major from Early childhood to Social Worker and a minor in child Psychology. This wouldn’t be possible for me if it wasn’t for my hubby and his support. I’m excited, nervous and ready to kick butt all at the same time. I love helping others and let’s be honest the way this world is taking a turn we need more people trying to help the less fortunate, less verbal, and those that get taken advantage off. I’m ready to help my community and make a difference one person at a time.
Now back to our apartment, like I mentioned we’ve been minimizing and getting rid of the extra. We want to live with exactly what we need and nothing extra. We recently updated our entryway. We hadn’t done that in at least five years. This time around i wanted our entryway to represent us as soon as you walked threw the door. Minimal, simple and inviting. We got rid of our bench, all the shoes lying around, coats hanging and just left it simple. My favorite part of the whole entryway decor is the wallpaper we used. living in an apartment we obviously cant make major changes but when I found a peel and stick wall paper at my local target I knew this was the impact I wanted.
We almost sold that table because I didn’t have a place for it but once I decided to put it in our entryway I just knew I had to keep it, and love it even more. The wallpaper is from Target its the Devine textured brick wallpaper perfect for an apartment because of its easy peel and stick. Remember just because you live in an apartment doesn’t mean you can’t make it your own.

The benefits of owning less are far greater than just a clean home. They also include focus, freedom, peace, and more passion for life
