Holiday Pictures

As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them…

Happy Monday darlings!hope your weekend was great. over here we are busy busy getting ready for Thanksgiving with our family and friends. I wont be hosting this year but I will be cooking my  much loved ham and Brussel sprout recipe, Can’t wait! Another thing that was on my list and had to get done were our family holiday pictures. We usually use a random family picture where we all look good and call it a day, but this year I got the wonderful idea that I would style and take our own family pictures. I’ve been practicing with my photography and also my 14 yr old wants to take up photography so I thought this would be a great opportunity for her to get behind the camera as well. First thing first I headed to Old navy for our outfits. I didn’t have a plan on what we would wear but once I found my dress I was able to find matching pieces perfectly. Now when it came to the pictures,I wanted the fall colors, leaves and beauty. We headed not far from home and found a cute little park with a trail, the colors were just perfect. I originally planned to bring my tripod to take a picture of the 5 of us but last minute I forgot it (BUMMER) but it all ended well and the pictures came out amazing. I love that I have the memories and that my daughter and I captured our family perfectly. As for our Holiday card style we have been doing ornament cards for the last few years. My company of choice is MINTED. I love their designs and many choices.
