Travel Diary: Assateague Island

Hi Darlings!

Another Thursday means another throw back to our Spring Break trip! Today I’m sharing our afternoon at Assateague state park. Assateague state park is a publicly owned recreation area in Maryland. The park offers wildlife viewing, beach activities, and camping facilities. And when they say wildlife they mean WILD PONIES!. This place was on the top of my list to visit in MD. and the trip did not disappoint! we saw gorgeous wild ponies (please keep a distance from them,as they are wild). We also took a hike on the beach but ended up having a scary moment when a snake came out the bushes!!! ( I’m terrified of snakes) It was a scary and hysterical family moment that we will never forget.

This is definitely a  must visit and we highly recommend it. We took amazing pictures, shared moments and made memories to truly last a lifetime.

But the most beautiful things in life are not just things. They’re people, and places, memories and pictures. They’re feelings and moments and smiles and laughter.
