Baked Apples

Today I wanted to share this delicious recipe. I combined two recipes I found on Pinterest and the outcome was amazing and super easy. We recently went apple picking and came home with a bunch of delicious apple.. The first thing the kids said was “can we please bake something”… So I had to please them❤️ here goes!

Ingredients

4-6 apples
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1tbsp butter
3/4 cups water
1/4 cup of oats (raw)

In a small bowl add sugar, cinnamon, & oats. Stir and combine
Wash apples well and cut out just the core
Place apples in a baking dish dish and stuff each apple with the sugar mixture. Stuff them as much as possible
Divide the tsp of butter into 4-6 pieces and place on top of the apples.
Last but not least pour very hot/boiling water into baking dish. Pour around the apple not on top.
Bale for 30-40 minutes on 375 degrees
Once done let it cool for a bit and then serve and enjoy. You can add vanilla ice cream or whipped cream if you are feeling fancy
