FlashBack Friday: Engagement Session

Soulmates… two halves of the same soul joining together in life’s journey

Today I’m continuing with memory lane of our journey into marriage with pictures of our engagement shoot. When picking our location we went with one of my favorite places in Brooklyn. Dumbo is one of the most beautiful, eclectic, old style places. We often come here with the children and walk by the water, play in the playground and walk over the BK bridge ( a must do if you come to visit NY). Being  New Yorkers I wanted our wedding and our photos to capture the true beauty and land marks of our city. One thing you need to know about my husband and I is that we are super silly together and it was real hard to capture some shoots since were giggling the whole time. I love this man and just thinking about us bring goosebumps. These moments were everything to us and full of happiness.  Here is a few of our amazing photos! Enjoy and get inspired

We got the Yin and Yang tattoos to represent our connection. The meaning of the yin and yang is a true representation of who we are. two opposites that together become complete

I want to say thank you to my husband for loving me, trusting me, cherishing me, and for doing all unconditionally. I am a blessed complete woman.

  1. “One of my favorite shots… amazing view of the city behind us.” That photo is chock-full of perfectly aligned details. You two, the famous skyline, the NY Waterways ferry and the birds perfectly extended wings. It feels like a moment of synchronicity. Unless you made some phone calls…it had to be!
