Yesterday was mother’s day and like everyday I was celebrated by my amazing family. I never imagined my life would be so complete and full of love. I always knew I wanted to be a mother but didn’t know how completely breath taking it would be. Being blessed with not one but three different, unique, wonderful, beautiful little babies is out of this world. I thank God everyday for trusting me to be their mommy. Their is no perfect mother, we all do and try our best to be the best we can be. I would never trade this feeling for anything in the world. I also want to thank my husband for loving me, loving my two oldest like they are his and for being the most amazing father. I am one lucky lady.
This mother’s day was a little different because my mother wasn’t here, she was on vacation at the Dominican Republic. First time I didn’t spend mother’s day with her. I missed her terribly and thought of her the whole time. My mommy is my everything, she raised us on her own and did an amazing job. She is my role model, my hero, my muse.
On saturday we celebrated mother’s day with my mother in law. We took her out to eat and had a great time.
Here’s a little glimpse into my mother’s day
Sunday consisted of being woken up with breakfast in bed and lots of love and kisses from my little miracles. Then we headed out to brunch at sunset lounge in Astoria. The food was delicious and the view was amazing. It was a rooftop lounge.
After brunch we headed to Astoria park to enjoy the day and take a few photos…
I loved my day! It was simple, peaceful, happy and joyful all that I could ever want.
“I Believe that the nicest and sweetest of days are not those which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens, but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string”
