Throwback Thursday: Ice Cream Party

Today for my Throwback Thursday I will share my boys winter ice cream birthday party from a year ago. We hosted the party at a vintage Ice cream parlor in Forest Hills NY. Eddie’s Sweet shop. Its the best Ice Cream Place Ever its been around for a long time and they never changed the inside décor. It’s Vintage heaven! I lived in that neighborhood as a teen and visited regularly with friends and family. Once I thought of an ice cream party I knew that was the place. My boys share the same birthday month which is November. So we’ve been celebrating them together. Finding something they are both interested in could get tricky, they are 4 years apart and not into the same things. Everyone love ice Cream?!? So that’s what we went with.  In NYC November is a hit or miss with the weather. That year actually was the year we were hit with the big hurricane. and it was a few days before the party. Bummer! right? We called all our family and friends to make sure they were alright and see if they were still able to make the party. Almost everyone said they would make it so the party went on. It was great to have everyone show up despite the weather and lack of gas that was going on at that time. Let’s take a look back at that fun, special day for our boys.
